At the end of your visit to Salzburg sit back and relax during the ride through the Lake Region. Before reaching St.Wolfgang, make a stop in tiny St.Gilgen, hosting the birth house of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s mother.
In St.Wolfgang, located by Lake Wolfgang, you’ll find one of the most charming Christmas Markets of Austria. The small village in a magic winter wonderland hosts more than 60 Christmas cabins and offers a big variety of art wares. Visit the Pilgrimage Church and discover illuminated St. Wolfgang streets while enjoying the famous Christmas punch, eating the local stollen, roasted almonds or chestnuts. You will have plentiful opportunities to take memorable pictures.
After the unique St. Wolfgang experience, take the worry-less ride back to your hotel in Vienna.
