Description
The drive to Bratislava goes quickly. Within an hour you cross Lower Austria and the Austro-Slovakian border. Upon arrival in Bratislava you will be taken for a sightseeing tour covering the covering the most important landmarks of the Slovakian capital.
In Bratislava pay a visit to Slavín, a war memorial and military cemetery from 1960. A breathtaking view of the Danube banks and an amazing panoramic scenery waits for you from the Bratislava Castle and Slovakia’s Parliament area.
Take a deeper look into the historical city center and walk through the downtown streets with your expert guide. Get to see the President’s Palace, the Slovak national theater, Michael’s Gate, the Old Town Hall, the Academia Istropolitana and also the Cathedral of St. Martin, former coronation place of the Hungarian kings.
Enjoy your free time after the sightseeing tour by trying Goulash or other typical Central European dishes in one of the numerous Slovak restaurants, or just strolling around the shops and boutiques specializing in regional artisanry and souvenirs.
