From start to finish I give this trip FULL marks. White Alligator Tours contacted me by email, as promised, to advise me of the precise pick up time from my hotel and the name of the driver - Balazs. Balazs was polite, energetic and extremely knowledgable of the history of the region. When we reached stops Balazs quickly moved to the van door to place a step on the ground to assist us to get off the van, and he also did this to help us to get on the van. Balazs was quick - he did this every time. Balazs knew where very clean restrooms were on route - this is very important for travellers. Balazs’ commentary during the trip was accurate and interesting, and this added to the enjoyment of the day. Balazs is also a great photographer and he offered to take photographs of us . What a bonus. Balazs made our trip extremely enjoyable as we had all of our needs met, from being on time when picking us up from our hotels, right through to our drop off back at our hotels. White Alligator Tours have an excellent reputation and this is why I booked this tour with them. The van was modern and clean, plenty of bottled water was available, and the on-board wifi was speedy. Love this company. We booked the Hallstatt Day Trip during our stay in Vienna and it was a brilliant experience! Amazing day out with Peter in the Lake Region. He was very friendly and informative and he even went out of his way to show us the best views in the amazing Alpine area. We visited several lakes and villages before getting to tiny Hallstatt. Lucia, our local guide in Hallstatt, gave us extensive information and brought us to the main sights of this Alpine jewel. Would recommend this enterprise to all. Peter did an excellent job and made our trip unforgettable.

What an absolutely wonderful day. From the moment our guide Balasz picked us up at our hotel to the end of the day when he went out of his way to drop us at a requested restaurant, it was an amazing day. The tour was incredible. Our guide Christiane in hallstadt was also wonderful. Would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Best tour guide, beautiful town, great atmosphere. I have been on many tours before, but this was the most wonderful experience over all. Our tour guide Peter was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He put in some humour with history, that makes you wanna listen to him. He accomodated to us well and was great throughout. Would recommend everyone to request him as a guide.

It was a really great tour for a very affordable price. They also picked us up right at our apartment which made the travel super easy. The tour guides were great and overall we had an amazing time. I would highly recommend to any of my friends.

We took with my wife a small group tour to Budapest while we were in Vienna. After the booking we received an detailed e-mail from the company and Balazs picked us up right on time at our private address. The drive to Budapest was very smooth and Balazs gave us bunch of informations about the history of Hungary. The tour in Budapest had 2big parts one on the Buda and the one on the Pest side. Despite it was just a day-trip we could see the most famous sites of the Hungarian capital and we had 80° which made the day more enjoyable. Well recommended company and tour.

My wife and I had a pleasant experience during this trip. We were picked up at the hotel we were staying at exactly 6.35pm as promised via email the day before. We traveled with six other participants in a mini van. The trip was interspersed with two breaks to use the toilet or buy food. Marco, the driver, gave us an overview of Hallstatt and we enjoyed the ride with him. Catrina, the local tour guide was also very accommodating and made good explanations. I recommend this type of tour if you want more privacy and have a pleasant experience in Hallstatt.

Wonderful opportunity to see Prague in a day! This was my second tour with Markus and he is fantastic! This is a long drive ( over 3 hours each way) but Markus is an excellent driver- when we hit traffic, he took us on some country roads to see some beautiful villages in the Czech Republic. Highly recommend this tour!

One of the best sightseeing and Instagram type scenic area you can visit, but this tour was extra special with our guides, Roman and Christina thank you for an amazing memory

Communication re pick-up time was appreciated, friendly introduction from Driver/Guide Peter. Helped all 7 guests out of coach. Very informative re areas stopped at, travelled through & comfort stops when suggested & required. Peter kept us up to date with advice on pick-up times & places when we had some free time. I had to phone office on pickup place in Salzburg & found staff helpful & supportive. The group of strangers were very comfortable with Peter, asking questions which were always answered thoughtfully & with depth of knowledge. Passengers interacted well with him & each other indicating complete confidence in his driving ability, professional conduct & knowledge of this region of Austria. A long Day Trip but I would certainly recommend Peter & White Alligator Tours.

Great trip to Budapest. Marcus was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us recommendations at every stop. We enjoyed a delicious lunch based on his recommendations.

I travelled with my family on a one-day private trip to Budapest. We really enjoyed every second of it. Our driver/guide was Balazs, everything was very well scheduled. During the ride to the Hungarian capital he talked about places of interest, the information he gave was interesting and useful, he answered all the questions. The whole excursion was very comfortable, thought-out, very well organized! We saw lots of attractions in Budapest, it was fascinating, we enjoyed every bit of it! Thanks a lot for such a lovely day in Hungary!

The tour was excellent. There was a bit of traffic on the way out that meant we were an hour behind but Marco our guide was kind enough to extend the day by an hour. The tour was excellent, we went to this amazing view point, then onto Buda, spent some time there then went to Pest. We had a few hours free time which was great as we could get food and explore the river area. Marco, our guide, was excellent. He was very informative about the history of Budapest, he was an excellent guide, definitely 10/10 for him. This is a great tour if you are in Vienna for 4 or 5 days and want to see something different but not have time to spend more than a day away.

This was the best way to see the Budapest hightlights from Vienna, Austria. Marco was our driver and tour guide and he was the absolute best! As I was solo, I sat up front and was able to witness his very safe and courteous driving. His knowledge of both Vienna and Budapest were excellent and his commentary while he drove was both informative and entertaining. Would highly recommend this tour.

Nice day. Beautiful town. Rent the little boat to get away from the crowds and see it from the water. Roman was a good driver and tour guide and I’m glad I went with a small group. They were great.

Marco from White Alligator tours, he was fabulous and is a lovely man. He made sure all was comfortable and provided heaps of information on the sites we were visiting. Also need to mention Peter who guided us around Salzburg, fabulous guide and very entertaining. The areas we visited were incredible and would highly recommend.

Nuestro viaje a Viena fue una experiencia única e irrepetible. Disfrutamos de un fin de semana lleno de cultura, historia y paisajes europeos. Viajaban conmigo mi hermana, mis padres y mis abuelos. Cada uno teníamos un ritmo diferente y expectativas diferentes de Viena; todas cumplidas muy satisfactoriamente. Nuestros guias nos ayudaron a conocer toda la ciudad en horas limitadas, respetando los tiempos de descanso y se adaptaron perfectamente a nuestras necesidades. Recomiendo 100% la comida, la história, las personas, el idioma, LA CIUDAD, y especialmente la compañía; tanto la familiar de la cuál nunca tengo queja alguna, como la de nuestros encantadores guias.

Marcus our driver and guide was great. He picked us up on time, and was knowledgeable of the area. It was a long journey out there, but was well worth the trip. He was funny and brought the group together. By the end of the day we were all much closer. We swam in crystal clear waters and explored cute little villages before heading to Hallstatt. Our guide, Dorothy, was very knowledgeable of the area. We had plenty of time after the tour to eat, swim, shop, and take the funicular (cable railway) to the viewing platform on the mountainside. I will definitely be recommending this trip to anyone who decides to travel to Austria.

Roman ensured a safe travel for the group and brilliantly managed the timings of the tour. He was engaging and kept sharing interesting bits about the countries, places and routes which is wholly appreciated. Our guide, Valerie, was very knowledgeable and added a personal touch to the guided walking tour in Prague. The weather was a spoilsport but nevertheless it is a memorable experience. The group members were also cordial!
