Make the first stop in the fairy-tale town of Dürnstein on the majestic Danube river and let your guide show you some of the highlights of the town. Stroll around later the narrow cobble stoned medieval streets or ascend the hill to the romantic ruin of Dürnstein Castle, famous for the legend of the English King Richard the Lionheart, and enjoy a breathtaking view.

Continue your journey directly to a winery and take pleasure in a guided tour through a vineyard by a local winegrower. Taste the full-bodied, pepper-tinged Grüner Veltliner, the rich and steely Riesling or some other of the most exquisite Austrian wines.

With the end of the vine tasting, visit Melk with a vast Benedictine monastery built above the town. Enjoy some free time, walk around the old town or climb up to the Abbey gardens.
